After going to the Union bookstore and half priced books, I found some books that really grabbed my attention. Through use of typography, graphics and the overall composition and arrangement, these books and even their first pages succeeded at attracting the viewer. The books I felt had especially successful covers were By Blood, Read Hard, and The Evolution of God. These three books featured captivating typefaces, big to small font contrast, and colors that make the books very aesthetic to look at. All three of these books didn't use many if any graphics, yet managed to use only typography to snag my attention all the more.
